Rather than ask members of the Quilchena community to participate in many small fundraising events throughout the year, the Quilchena PAC appeals to families to make a direct donation each school year. This is our only fundraising effort for the entire year! 

Why ask for direct donations?

• Families benefit: Quilchena families are busy! The direct appeal helps take some of the pressure off families by reducing the time and energy needed for constant fundraising. 

• Students benefit: 100% of funds raised through the direct appeal can be immediately used to provide an enriching learning experience for students. No fundraising expenses and no third-party payments.

How much should I donate?

The Quilchena PAC aims to raise $16,000 through the AQA and $125 per child will enable us to reach that goal. All donations are anonymous and any amount has a positive impact. 

We realize everyone's financial situation is different – you do not have to contribute. If you are able to donate, any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated! Please donate whatever amount works best for your family.

What are the funds used for?

Funds raised by the AQA are used to pay for educational experiences and materials the Vancouver School Board doesn’t fund, including:

• Classroom resources including arts and crafts supplies, instruments, and technology resources;

• Field trips;

• Athletic equipment and team uniforms;

• Library and classroom furniture;

• Educational software licenses;

• Books and literacy programs;

• Materials for school clubs and much more!

This year we would like to help fund classroom supplies for each teacher, iPad keyboards, and new laptops for students.

How Do I Donate? 

You can donate at any time throughout the year.

1. Visit School Cash Online:  https://vsb.schoolcashonline.com/

2. Log in with your email address and password.

   • optionally, in the very lower left hand corner, change the Language to your preferred language for Google Translate to automatically translate the content of the site.

3. On the Items page, click the Make a Donation button.

4. On the Donation page, choose or enter your donation amount under “Gift Information”.

5. Select Quilchena Elementary PAC from the Fund Destination menu.

   • leave the Tribute Information as “Not a tribute gift”.

6. In the Message to School Board field, enter “AQA”.

7. Click the Add To Cart button.

8. Proceed to checkout, enter payment information and submit.

Donations over $25 are eligible for a tax receipt which can be printed directly from the screen after checkout.
