🍝 The cut-off to place a hot lunch order is 8pm on Tuesday the week beforehand (or Thursday if lunch is on Friday).
🍇 Please send re-usable utensils with your child on Hot Lunch days.
🥙 Please register with an email address that you monitor on a regular basis to receive important notices about your order.
🍐 If your child will be absent on a day they have ordered Hot Lunch and you would like to pick it up, please email hotlunch@quilchenapac.org or contact the school by 11am. Unclaimed lunches without prior notice will be re-distributed to a child who does not have a lunch.
🌭 Lunch Dates may be shifted to avoid events (snow day, overnight camping, etc.) or coincide with school events (Sports Day).
🍱 Cancellation Fees will be charged on refund. See Refund Calculator.
🥦 MunchaLunch credits on active accounts will be carried over to the next school year, unless otherwise requested.
🥑 Any credits on MunchaLunch accounts that have been completely inactive for an entire school year will be donated to the PAC.

What is Hot Lunch?
What is Hot Lunch?
Each year, the Quilchena Parent Advisory Committee operates a Hot Lunch fundraiser for students of the school. Participation is optional, but since its inception, it remains one of our most popular fundraising activities with over half of all students getting a lunch order every lunch date.
Families order ahead of time from a variety of menu items from one of our chosen caterers. On the designated lunch date, the lunches are delivered to the students at the start of their lunch hour.
With no cafeteria service available in most Canadian elementary schools, we have an opportunity to
Provide students with kid-friendly and healthy food with quality ingredients
Provide busy parents with a convenient alternative to packing school lunches
Raise money to support the school and students at Quilchena
Support local businesses
